The Man Who Moved a Mountain
Dasrath Manjhi is a farmer from India. His wife fell ill one day and ultimately died because the hospital was too far away. Why? Because there was an enormous mountain between his village and the hospital.
So he spent the next 22 years of his life digging through the mountain… literally “moving mountains” for the rest of the village so that no one would face the same fate as his wife.
Now normally I would say man I would have done the same thing, but really 22 years of digging dirt. I don’t know call me crazy but who digs dirt for 22 years, that’s not gonna bring her back And if I remember rightly didn’t God say speak to the mountain. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed … he shall have whatsoever he saith…. you get the drift, I think I would have to had prayed to God and have Him cause a natural occurrence, to move that dirt. How many of you guys would have dug? and how many of you guys would have just prayed?
